PETG Plastic

Material Characteristics

Designed for long-term, heavy-duty applications.

PETG is 15–20 times tougher than general-purpose acrylic, making it far more resistant to cracking and breakage. This durability makes PETG a superior choice for high-traffic, high-use environments such as healthcare, labs, and manufacturing. It is also resistant to a variety of chemicals and common disinfectants, including PDI wipes. PETG’s optical clarity allows for easy visibility of contents, labeling, and true colors.

While standard acrylic may show signs of brittleness, cracking, or yellowing within 3–7 years depending on use, PETG typically offers a lifecycle of 7–12 years—nearly double the durability under comparable indoor conditions.

Care & Cleaning

PETG can withstand most cleaning chemicals without surface damage.

For best results, clean with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Avoid abrasive tools that may scratch the surface.
